"When I interviewed contractors there was absolutely no question in my mind who I was going to hire. I just love this house. Arne seems to respect that. And they're very respectful of my privacy, my personal property. He has a great crew. He never did anything without checking with me and I really appreciate that. I feel as though we've honored the house. It's like a vacation in here!"
"Over the last two years, I had the good fortune of working closely with Arne Gronningsater on the reconstruction of a private residence. I am an architect with a small residential firm on Cape Cod and the project was in Lexington. As we are a 1.5 hour drive from the site, Arne was our eyes and connection to the project. Although we had weekly meetings, he was a terrific link to all issues. As architects, we hope to work with a contractor who respects our goals and helps us to achieve them. Arne did this and was the most conscientious and communicative site supervisor we have worked with. He called with any questions, concerns, or observations. We were never surprised. He was knowledgeable about high-level building processes and was willing to research new products to be green and non-toxic. I would welcome the opportunity to work with him again."
Arne is a proactive builder. He takes the time to listen to the problem presented, develops solutions, and then works carefully with selected approaches and deliberate speed. His deep knowledge of construction, eye for detail, and ability to orchestrate the process yields strong results and good buildings.
We have worked with Arne and Inner Works Construction Services on five projects over the past eight years. Arne is well organized, thoughtful, and does great work. He understands the priorities of the owner and the design team and is able to shepherd the delicate balance of scope and cost with an eye for quality. We highly recommend Arne and the work he does.
It was a great experience. Very timely and professional. Things were down well and were, for the most part always run by me, the owner. I felt involved in the process.
Having your home remodeled while you are still living in it presents a number of challenges, not least of which is the fact that there are strangers in your home for a period of several weeks. Over those weeks, Arne and his crew were unfailingly considerate and made what could have been an extremely difficult time go by quickly and easily. I would recommend them to anyone.
It was a very unique and potentially very stressful project. It takes a special tradesman to be able to work well in these environments and to maintain camaraderie between the trades. Arne definitely has the patience and the stick-to-it-ive-ness to do just that. I look forward to working with him again.
